You're completely missing out on the smartphone/PDA market.
I have both a HP PDA as well as an HTC (windows mobile) phone that have the following programs:
-PocketShredder
-PocketGrandmaster
Both of these cost about 19 USD and allow you to manage PGN databases of your games. And yes, being smartphones/PDAs, you can USB-sync them like you would a thumbdrive to your PC.
This is great for regular club games ... I use it a lot.
Of course, if you want to record moves in a USCF tournament, you are stuck with the over-priced 400$ device ... any other device is outlawed.
I would like to buy an electronic chess notebook for keeping track of moves in my games but can't seem to find one other than the $400 one.
Basically all I want is a device that will create pgns that I can download from the device to my computer for analyzation. I've seen a lot of different handheld chess computers but none appear to be USB or save PGNs into memory other than the $400 one whos name escapes me.
Any help would be awesome thanks guys!!
