Vintage chess Clocks

I thought I'd start a thread for old analogue chess clocks. I grew up playing OTB tournaments where the ticking of clocks was a constant background noise in the tournament hall, so I feel rather nostalgic about old clocks. I only use digital clocks for play now, but I still love the way old wooden clocks handle.

I'll post some of mine below (mostly German/Dutch/English and Hungarian)...

Here's an old Posingis clock:

An old Jerger:

another German classic - the Alpha:

another Posingis:

And this is the oldest Posingis model (pre-war):

A Hoepplein:

And here's the predecessor to the famous Garde, when Thiel was nationalized by Communist East Germany and turned into VEB Ruhla:

An old wooden Rolland:

A classic BHB, branded as British Chess Magazine (BCM):

Those are nice Frank.  I really like the old Jerger with the Roman Numerals, the yellow or gold ring and it looks like a red heart just under the XII.

It presents a very nice aesthetic.

A clock from Hungary:

Large wooden Sutton Coldfield:

A Koopman:

Another Koopman:

And yet one more Koopman:

And an original late Garde model, produced in communist East Germany (you can tell the difference to the currently produced Garde clocks from some of the details on the clockface).

An early garde from the 1960s:

And here's what I think is a white-labeled Garde. It's marked Elka and came from a Dutch chess club. I suspect Ruhla tried exporting these under the Elka brand to get some hard currency during the Communist era...

My largest clock, an early Dutch clock with a very interesting provenance - owned by a Dutch GM in the 30s who has a published game against Alekhine, so this clock MAY have been used by Alekhine in that game... :)
