That set in general is awesome.  I love thick sturdy knights like that.  Honestly those fide WC knights everyone hates have been growing on me for that same reason.

Gross.  ;-)  They're hated for a (good) reason.  Seek help, suggest whiskey. tongue.png

I told you I’m weird haha.   Only thing I can’t stand in a chess set are anorexic, worm looking, skinny jean bishops.   I like my Bishops round and fat 😂.

Noj BCE Stage 2 or Noj Dubrovnik Minceta?

How about the Wellington?

The Wellington knight is possibly my favorite. I like this one too though the trimmed hair style on the forehead (with holes) spoils an otherwise stunning design.

GrandPatzerDave

Yeah, what's the deal with all those holes?

MCH818

I know, right! Those holes just ruin it.

1850 Jaques Morphy knight & the Romanian knight from Mr. Biro's set

Vienna Coffee House set has a beautiful knight...But the HOS's Savano Series has to be my pick.

And in second place is the Marcel Duchamp knight that’s also my avatar:

Minarima, which Jaques set is that?

HOS's Savano Series...

Those particular Savano Knights are pretty spectacular. That ever so slight side-turn of the head gives the piece so much more depth and character. And adds to the complexity of the carving. That's next level carving there.

This is a Jaques club-size (4.4" King) Staunton design set from 1849, the first year of manufacture, and therefore this set is one of the oldest Staunton sets in existence

Collection of Jon Crumiller

I thought that a chess set that old would have yellowed by now.  It appears bleached.

These knights are not spectactical, but definitely catches one's eye. Latvian set from the 1930's.

Drueke Players Choice pushes all the right buttons for me:

Back home in the Philippines, we have what we called the deviled knights because they look like they have horns (supposedly erect ears). These special set are made of ultra hard wood we called Kamagong or Iron wood here in the US.  I'd like to own one but this particular type I just can't afford when I was there. I searched for these somewhere and I found one on ETSY (but already sold). Here's a couple of pictures from Etsy.
