Which Everyman Chess opening series?

I have been looking into some chess books from Everyman Chess to learn more about a certain opening I enjoy playing to learn more, yet there seems to be multiple series.

For instance, take Ruy Lopez as a hypothetical example:

  • Starting out: the Ruy Lopez
  • Opening Repertoire: The Ruy Lopez
  • The Ruy Lopez: Move by Move
  • Dangerous Weapons: The Ruy Lopez
  • Play the Ruy Lopez

Does anyone know how these different series differ? Are some more involved than others? More theoretical or more practical? Beginner, intermediate and advanced? Mainline versus less explored variants?

Have you read any of them and what did you think?

The starting out series I know is for beginners, and from what I've seen on Amazon reviews the Opening Repertoire books are more advanced. I'm not sure about the other series.
