Which modern, wooden chess set is the best if $ is not an issue ! ?

Not one for new chess sets as like old antique sets with a history .
Still if I was to buy a new one would buy this fine set ! which is a remake of a very rare set .

If money is not the issue ...
then I would get a 3D printer to make however many chess sets you want; familiarize yourself with a program like Sketchup, and you can literally make whatever design you like. Of course, you could just purchase whatever chess set you like (as mentioned), without the cost of a 3D printer (unless you already have access to one obviously).
Is my recommendation practical for most people? No. Remember though, I am simply recommending an idea if (as you put it) "$ is not an issue ! ?"
