Levy Rozman's book covers the basic essentials of chess. It is targeted primarily to the beginner-novice player (1200 Elo or less). Uniquely for a chess book, it uses virtually no chess notation - that is, the moves are explained conversationally, in words, without chess notation. It is very easy to read and study. It serves its intended purpose well.
