Are you an adult improver, between 1200 and 1400 and want to figure out how to deal with time in the opening and middlegame?

Join my 3-part interactive group training (February, live on Zoom) and learn when time is significant and when it’s not.

What you’ll get

  • Practical decision rules you can use immediately in your games
  • practical positions, illustrative explanation and interactive sessions
  • The “thinking process” for handling sharp positions

The 3 sessions1) When does time matter? Sat, Feb 7

In this class we will focus on identifying parameters that indicate an open or closed position.

2) How to punish slow play? Sat, Feb 14

Some positions don’t allow slow improvement and maneuvers. You’ll learn how to spot positions where slow play is doomed to fail and punish inadequate play.

3) When to focus on piece placement over time? Sat, Feb 28

Sometimes time matters less. We’ll study positions where maneuvering and improving pieces is the priority, and build clear rules for recognizing them.

Time (same start time each Saturday)1:45 PM MT2:45 PM PT3:45 PM ET9:45 PM CET

Duration: 60 minutes each
Limit: Each group is limited to 4 participants

Tickets€17 per session (~$20)€45 for all 3 sessions (~$53)
