Um you should do a free lesson then expect them to pay after that first "trial run"... you gave them 2 lessons oof

It was the first time in more than 3 years of my coaching experience. That's why I used to trust people.

Don't mean to kick a man when he's down, but why don't you do lessons against cleared payment, like most people offering these kind of services?
He has GothamChess as his flair. Definitely send it to Levy and he will probably rip him a new one in a Youtube video.

I dont coach anymore, but when I did, any students ALWAYS paid before the lesson started.

Damn I saw when V 1st put this up & I don't remember the name now. I almost reported him but chess.com isn't gonna do anything it's one member's word over another.

I've given a few lessons, and use Calendly tied to Stripe, takes all the headaches out of it.
When I've taken lessons from titled players, I've invariably paid upfront for a block.

Hey guys, I hear you when you say it's just one person's word against another, but that's often NOT true. @50kg, if you could write to us at support@chess.com with what happened to the best of your recollection, and be prepared provide screenshots or forward correspondence with one of my agents. In any INDIVIDUAL dispute, it's true that we are sometimes unable to act, but sometimes we can.
And if this happens multiple times, well then it's not an individual dispute, and someone is then using our site to commit fraud. We can DEFINITELY take action then . . . but if not reported, we don't know a pattern of behavior is happening, and again, we can often take immediate action in some cases.
We look forward to getting this report and to making sure our website is a great place for individuals to get and give lessons, and not a place for scamming people!
