Same. It doesn’t reset. I can’t do any lessons.
I’m having the same issue. Have you reported it to tech support?
OK so chess admitted it is a bug - it is to do with the new lessons. They need to jupdate the message to tell you that actually, unlike the old lesson system, you need to have diamond to access most of the intermediate lessons and up from there.

It’s 1225 on the following day and it still says my daily limit reached. The new day is nearly over!
