I am ready for some analysis and discussion.
(And yes you can private msg me if that is convenient for you).
No offense but I really don't think you should be coaching players if you are 1300 after 3000 games. From one lower-rated player to another, it will only hurt them, especially when you can't answer some of their questions.
I don’t agree. Holland is stuffed with low level amateur players coaching fellow even lower leveled amateur players. In all sorts of sports, including chess. That’s fun.
The difference between 1300 and <1000 is without any doubt enough to see improvements the player himself does not see yet. Check a few <1000 games and you see what I mean.
Of course I should not answer questions. I only discuss obvious points in the games we analyse. No, I would not start explainING the desired pawn structure in the Scandinavian main line. Yes, I feel free to talk about active and passive pieces, drawing with q + k vs k and hanging pieces.
And most important: as long as we have fun it’s good. Maybe I shouldn’t call it ‘coaching’. But I havent found a better word yet (English is not my native language).
I am around 1300 so don’t expect GM lines, but do expect improvement if you are serious about it.
