Your opponent wants to capture the pawn on e5. Play Nc6 to defend the pawn while also developing your knight.

yeah, I saw that move, but was very sleepy so mistakes were made, thank you for the feedback it's much appreciated for next time.
I am A beginner at chess. I never really played it at all. & need some advice. It was a late game, I should not have been playing at 1:00 AM, but I would like someone to confirm If I went Knight to F6, that would threaten the queen, right? I was tired at the time Probably won't play chess at 1:00 AM after this experience.
