I just got started

So literally yesterday i learned how the pieces moved and today i beat for the first time the computer on level 1 haha i would love some tips from anyone!

Good grief!  What in the world is inkognitos' problem?  The forums are generally quite supportive and welcoming of new players so good luck with your game and just ignore anyone with a bad attitude.

Also it's worth googling the following tactical themes (there are lots, but some are confusing, so it's good to start with the basics)

 - Pin and skewer
 - Discovered attack and discovered check
 - Fork and double attack
 - Removing the defender and overworked piece

Also you should be sure to learn how to checkmate with king and queen vs lone king and
Two rooks vs lone king.

 

I think that's a good start for a true beginner. You learn something about openings, tactics, and endgames.

And be sure to play a lot! For a new player experience is more important than reading about chess. And have fun happy.png
