I honestly want to learn how to play better at chess, not just mess around in fast games. The more I play, the more I realize there’s a huge difference between just moving pieces quickly and actually understanding what’s going on in a position. I want to get to a point where I’m not just relying on instinct or speed, but actually recognizing patterns, planning ahead, and knowing why a move is good or bad.
I’d really like to build real fundamentals openings I actually understand, middlegame ideas, endgames, all of it. I know improvement takes time, but I’m ready to slow down, study more, and focus on getting consistent. I want to be able to look back a few months from now and see real progress in my play, not just random spikes from lucky fast games.
So yeah, I genuinely want to learn and get better at chess, and I’m willing to put in the work for it.
So if anyone would be able to help me that would be amazing
