Hello everybody, I feel a little silly posting this, but I have been stuck around the 1300 rating for probably more than 8 months now, and want to ask if anyone has any advice to pass this wall. My tactics rating stands at 2200 and I feel I have a good understanding of the opening, but regardless, I have remained stagnant. Does anyone have any recommended drills or tips to share?

Play a time control that gives you enough time to think about your moves so you can improve at playing chess. Then when you go back to blitzing your moves, you'll make better ones.

You need to analysis your game and find your weakness. I am just picking one of your random game for analysis.

Now let's recall what was your mistakes.

1). In the opening you develop a piece in the corner.

2). You missed the opportunity to get center control.

3). You made unnecessary king move.

4). Your light square Bishop was a bad piece in all game.

5). You missed a tactic from your opponent.

Thank you for the analysis! Yes, I have a bad tendency of playing quick blitz games and making some dubious moves. I will combine your feedback with the other response I received and will hopefully find progress!

Complete noob here (to chess and chess.com), is this analysis somewhere in chess.com? Does it do that for every game that you play or is it specific settings? It’s super cool, I’ve played my nephew a couple of times and he mates me in about 20 moves, I honestly don’t know what I did wrong. I’m ok with losing to him, but I’d at least like to know what I did wrong.

Thanks,
Donald

The previous post by Narayan1998 was manually inputted. They found one of the OP's online games, copied the PGN and inputted it into an image. They wrote notes on that afterwards using chess.com tools. So while the set-up was from chess.com, the analysis was from the poster. That said, learn->analysis can have a computer rate a position and give suggested moves with an evaluated rating (it grows more accurate if you give it time and more depth.) Still, explanations require people. You could always post a game and ask for thoughts though.
