Incorrect solution in a lesson

In Patrick Wolff's tactics course on forks, lesson 8 has a serious error. The suggested solution does not win a pawn for white, it probably loses the game. At the end of the "correct" sequence of moves, white's knight has no retreat and will ultimately be lost

What is the name of the lesson?

Champion tactics with GM Wolff--forks. It's under tactics in the Mastery section

I looked at lesson 8 with engine evaluation and that is true that u cannot win a pawn but u create a long ter weakness in form of isolated pawn. (knight can be exchanged however im 1800 and there is no way I would find a way of escaping thus I would not advise to try it, there is silly level of analysis required for this position. And good point I will write to chess.com support because only advantage is that weak isolated pawn and lesson is incorrect.

Thanks for sharing

I guess we will have to think of it as a hidden "bonus" quiz!  And a good reminder to always look one ply deeper

Yeah, that's a shame.  GM Wolff's tactical courses generally set a very high standard.  His courses date back to the original Chess Mentor program before Erik bought it and folded it into chess.com.  I have the feeling that the original course authors weren't paid a whole lot so they probably weren't checked with an engine.  Engine use was much more difficult in those days as well.  Might be one of the reasons that Erik didn't want all of the Old Lessons brought over into the new format.  Anyway, it is kind of embarrassing for chess.com when their own analysis shows the suggested move to be inferior...

black can't take d6 with the pawn since it would expose the king to the queen at e2

the solution is correct.. this is check mate
