Puzzle Rush vs. Puzzles - Rating

Hey i really like playing Puzzle Rush (unlimited time) and Puzzles for Rating but i get the feeling, that the rating are quite different. Is this intended or am i lacking something (except skill):
On Puzzle Rush my average go-to-Rating is around 600-800 with two times going up on 1100, but on the normal Puzzles i have (close to) no problem solving the 1200ish puzzles - now even climbing close to 1200 Rating. They seem to me just as difficult as the 600-puzzle from the puzzle Rush.
What are your experiences with that?
