at my chess club in teaching chess. I found a fun way of getting them into rethinking tactics. Devide a group of kids in 2 or more teams. each team consists of 2 or more players. let them work together let them discus their team move. as each team has a board, let them talk short notation to exchange moves. Kids often loose track but together they plan. Also young kids typically don't find it easy to play chess silently so allowing to talk but not to loud so their opponent group can't jear their tactic plan is fine. kids like it

It’s like vote chess. It’s a good way, but if there’s like 1 super strong player (depends, like 700 elo and then just one 2000 or something like that) then most will likely just listen to the stronger player.

But if you got people around the same elo vs the other team with similar Elo then it’s be a great way.
