When someone is very close to checkmate. It will say for example (M6) Meaning you can do a checkmate in 6 moves. For M7. Its in 7 moves. And so on. This will appear close to the for example + area. If The number goes up. You made a mistake. Make The M6 or whatever go down. Once its at M1 You have one chance to find checkmate in one or it will go up and you have lower chances of winning by a little or alot. Hope this helps!
