1) Practice

Practice makes perfect as we all know. Perfect might not be "real" but we all have our own version and expectation of the word perfect. Practicing will help you get better at your skills.

2) Reviewing

Reviewing games that you have previously played will help you revise your mistakes and improve for your upcoming games.

3) Taking Notes

If you see a move, tactic, or anything that you want to use on a different opponent, make sure you take note of it for later. Taking notes on things like this will help improve your game.

4) Teaching others

This may sound super weird but teaching others your skills will help you as a review of your own skills. This will make a bell ring in your head of your memory.

5) Taking breaks

If you want to get better, you might be on your computer all day practicing and improving. Although practicing is really good, you want to take breaks.

6) Playing on actual chess sets

You don't always have to use Chess.com you know...A lot of the time, it is more fun to play with an actual chess set.

7) Get some fresh air

Playing and improving and practicing and analyzing all day is pretty up straight boring and bad for your health. Go outside and take a nature walk! Why stay inside all the time when you can even PLAY CHESS OUTSIDE.

8) Looking at games that GM's played

As you know, GM's are really really good. If you watch their games, you can use some of their tactics and play a better game on your side. They might even help you teach other people better if you ever feel like running a club.

Practice does not make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. it does you no good to practice chess all day if you are doing it wrong

Of course, I'm probably just being pedantic.

I agree.

I think it is important to play speed and slow games.

Slow games teach you to think deeply and develop strategy; they're usually better quality.

Speed games teach you to recognize patterns, and to think under time pressure.
