What situation that worth sacrificing Castling?

Everytime I play, I tend to secure my king to castling before my opponent destroyed it. I just watched some games that didn’t attempt to escape from the opponent attack on Castling, but somehow the player still wins or at least remises. I started to wonder in what condition that sacrificing castling is actually advantageous and not blunder?

++ Castling gains 2 tempi, as it is 3 moves Kf2, Rf1, Kg1 for the price of 1.
Thus if you can gain 2 tempi or a pawn, it is worth losing castling.
