Well, Chess kid is for kids. But it does not mean it is stupid. I have been there. It was good but it did not seem to have as many options a chess.com. Still Chess kid is good.
chesskid has the most important thing for parents; kid safety.
You can do most anything chesskid as you can on chess.

I'm 14, I play on it.
i would go the opposite way. this site has slowly meandered into the realm of 'stupid' because they allow all the kids and related kid garbage, like counting threads. there is no way to really stop the kiddos that want to hang out at the adult table, but the site should be more proactive when kids are posting junk and use less of the bots to reign in adult conversation.
(they fail miserably there).
we regularly hear that this is supposed to be a 'family-friendly' site. that is a euphemism for 'watch your language as it is deciphered by our automation'.

Chesskid.com is absolutely great. I've been using that platform for 6 years and continue to use it till date. It's great for kids to practice their chess with a very organized routine and outstanding video lessons that specifically cater to kids with funny animations and easy to understand language.
