Hey I'm a student chess coach about to start coaching younger students at my school. What is the best method for teaching on a board? Last year I used a big demonstration board, but it took too long to set up every new position. So this year I wanted to do something on a computer where I can plan my lessons on ChessBase or something. But I have a Mac so ChessBase doesn't quite work. Are there any programs out there that are similar to ChessBase in terms of creating my own databases for teaching? Thanks.

It's been a while since I've played around on iBad, I mean Apple, products. Apple seems to have tight restrictions on what programs you can use on their devices. Shredder offers multiple pricing options and is a database program. It is proprietary. I know SCID is free and open source and available on Mac. Do an internet search for similar programs and test them before buying commercial software.
