Looking for Mentor

Hey everyone!

Let's be up front here. I'm not great at chess. Heck, I'm not even close to good at chess yet. I know some basic openings, get totally lost in the middle game, and have to improvise like mad in the end game. I could use someone to help me improve my thinking, especially in openings, transitioning to the middle game, and not blundering every move.

Not looking for a public shaming (though my chess record definitely merits one), but if you're willing to help out a struggling newbie, it would be incredibly appreciated!

Thanks!

Chess Mentor is just the original name for the 4,000 interactive lessons available here. Sales of Chess Mentor started in the early 90's. The current Chess.com management bought the chess.com URL and the rights to Chess Mentor out of bankruptcy in 2005.

If you want a coach, they are available on the coach page.
