Chess Mentor is just the old name for the interactive lessons here.

The website address chess.com was originally registered back in the 90's by the guys who developed the package of several thousand lessons and sold them as "Chess Mentor". The current management bought the lessons and the URL in 2005.

Hey there, I’m a chess coach/mentor, I give a free 30 minute demo lesson so you can see how you like having lessons, after that I do 1-hour lessons for $20, I use the chess.com interactive board and I use Skype or Google voice for audio. If this sounds good to you we can schedule a time for your first lesson.
