Hello there chess.com. I am writing to you all today to say that I am searching for anyone who is willing to become my chess coach on here. To help me to study openings, tactics, strategy, structure, and so on and so forth. To help prepare me for tournaments outside of and on chess.com. To become my friend also so that we may spar together while they teach me.

You do not have to be a titled player but it would be nice to have some titled members leave me a post or 2 about how much they charge and what they can offer. I am trying to gain strength and better understanding and would love my own personal coach. Thank you take care.

Did you look throught the directory of chess coaches here?  Some of them give rates, describe their offerings, etc.

I've taken a look. Either the prices are too high or they are not taking any students.

Yeah. Finding a coach here can be difficult. I tried before and just gave up.

I found that just asking about ways to improve in the forums nets lots of great ideas and suggestions that can allow most anyone to improve on their own.

I might do that. Thanks for the advice.
