Brilliancy Against the Italian Game
I apologize for my ignorance, but isn't the four knights a variation of the italian game? I mean, there's e4, Nf3, Bc4 and then Nc3.
As a FIDE master, would you play this against the four knights? I felt that my position wasn't that good after someone played this against me.

This is more of a 4 knights than an Italian (no Bc5) and about equal after 6.Bd3 de4 7.Bxe4.
After the main move 7...Bd6 it's a bit tricky, but what puts me off is that Black has easy equality after 7...Be6(!) followed by ...Bd5.
Still, it is playable for White, nothing wrong with it at your level.
Take a look at this nice way to counter the Italian game four knights variation. It allows to get a pawn after the trades. As white, how would you face this?
