Teach a high-IQ pupil! ;)
"I welcome any advice related to chess, but I'd rather avoid talking about IQ."
And the first thing you do is bring it up. Just goes to show that intelligence doesnt equal smarts.
With the number of errors in your statement, even accounting for this not being you native tongue, I highly doubt that you are in the top 2%.
Bragging about a high IQ is a paradox, because only a fool doesn't realize how it makes them look to others.
Hhahaha High IQ, and got to 1500 by himself, Wow! :v, obviously, if you got a high IQ you would know that any isn´t coach going to pick you for free, and you should know how to find good books, and you like read, supposedly. With your "Level of intelligence" it would be easy to you read any book and understand it, so, an advice from me would be, pick a a good book, read it, and let your "Big mind" do the work
Bobby Fischer learned by himself to until became one of the best of all times without internet so I think this generation has better opportunities to reach a GM title well that's only my humble opinion. Just be consistent and motivated if you really want it. ![]()
well thats nice, i only knew how to move the pieces and started like 2 years ago with 1000 on chess.com and in 1 year i got 1500 thats quite easy, try to do that when you have more elo its easy to go from 0 to 1500, no that easy to go from 1500 to 1800, a little hard to go from 1800 to 2100, hard to go from 2100 to 2400 and almost impossible to improve the 2400
