Mittens required too much computing power for chess.com.
I wonder how they messed with the code to have Mittens consistently choose some second or third-best options, like always opting for 6.a4 instead of 6.a3 in French Advance Paulsen Atttack.

Lack of creativity or things of personal meaningfulness in their lives. The same reason why everyone about 15-20 years ago was getting those horrible "tribal" arm tattoos, or a sun disk around he navel or the biohazard symbol...These aren't personal or meaningful. They're trite and only show that this person is just like everyone else.
