This sounds like a really aggressive and tricky opening for white as he starts with d4 and black responds with Nf6 trying to stop e4, but then White plays the out of surprise pawn to g4. Basically since Nf6 stops the e4 pawn, White sacrifices his g-pawn so when black takes with Nxg4, not only to play e4 next with 2 pawns in the center, but Black’s knight on g4 also hangs as the queen is open, so black’s knight can either go back to f6 but there’s e5 kicking it out, Knight h6 but the bishop can take leading to doubled pawns on the king side. Or black can defend the knight with h5, but that’s another flank pawn move so white can play another developing move like Bishop f4, Knight c3, Bishop c4 (With this opening I’d recommend Bf4, Nc3, move the queen a little then long castle O-O-O as the king’ll be safe and without the g-pawn if Black kingside castles which I see happen way more than queenside castling Rg1 in the future is a nice open file attacking the king)
If black doesn’t take the pawn and goes like d5, g5 is a dangerous option kicking the knight away.
So what’d yall think of this opening that’s never talked about?
