But I went ahead and started analyzing anyway.
It's beautiful this variation, with some of the richest ideas in the Benko to date, but I'd hardly say its a refutation. Also that's just how I would play it, for both sides.
The idea behind 12/13 a4 in the king walk variation of the benko is for white to build the ideal pawn structure on the qside in order to eliminate/or greatly reduce black's play/pressure there .
