Any other ideas?
1.e4 e5 2.c3 - Interesting?
i have analyze this there is a i unknown trap that i forgot but d5 is 2 d5 is crushing
Can you show the trap?
I mean, I don't think that there is a clear way to refute 2.c3- just like in openings like the French, which also seem dubious at first glance.
If White takes on with the Queen that is bad as shown already. If White takes with the Knight Black has Qe7 which does Block in the Bishop but I think again Black looks a bit better there.

So far I have not found a direct way of refuting this. Mybe 2.c3 is a bad move after all.

its not a trap but i think it should be.
I play e4,c3 and qc2 because I found I was slipping up in the opening and I feel this is much safer for me, if black plays d5 before qc2 which I think they should then I usually take and then play it from there if after qc2 then I play d3, I don't mind not being able to play nc3 because I usually play nd2 I don't recommend it for others but for someone of my grade with my lack of opening knlowledge I think it's safer than many openings. Please be relevant, helpful & nice!
4... Qe7 then, 5. Nc4 Nc3. Black's Queen blocks the Bishop in but White's developmented is gummed-up worse, having to work around the Black pawn on e5 and the White pawn on c3.
also possibly 4... Nd7 with some of the same ideas but no loss of the Bishop. Also if my previous 4... Bd6 5. Nc4 is annoying at the very least.
but I do think Bd6 might not be so strong as I was thinking at first because of Nc4 right away. I should have remembered that from when I played the Elephant Gambit.
"Playable for white" , LOL. I believe white is actually shooting for an advantage due to the whole moving first thing.

Yeah, you are right, but I was trying to prove to some people that the line was not a loss.
1. h4 also isn't a loss for white. How is it possible to lose on the second move? But strategy is dubious.
It's just the c2 queen and knight on b1 are awkward and 7.h3 made some weakness. If white gets to play another move or if instead he plays 7.d4 then I'd probably take white.
But e.g. 7...d5 8.ed Qxd5 9.d4 Ng6 and black's development is just so good... give white a few free moves and yeah, I'd definitely take white, but it's going to be hard getting all the pieces into the game.
In the 2nd diagram I'd expect something like 7.d4 or just 7.0-0. 7.Nf1 and 8.Be3 ensures no tactics on f2 but seems to unnecessarily waste time in the opening.
If you look at the starting position all the pieces are akward.
if Nd7 then white again has the option of taking on e5.
