After 1.e4 e5 2.c3 d5 3.d3! ; White is not bad. For example: 3... dxe4 4.dxe4 Qxd1 5.Kxd1 Nf6 6.f3! 6.Bc5 Nd2. With reciprocal possibilities.

This opening is by no means bad, but it isn't the best either
