e4 makes way for the king, so it is best.
Jokes aside, all resonable first move are equal, it just depends on ur style.

Nf3 is the best 1st move in my side because it allows to do tricks and forks with the knight .Then play your e4,after that Nc3 and start the attack early.
It depends on what you are most familiar with
What forks can you do with the knight on the second move that make it better than 1. e4 2. Nf3?
It depends on the opponents moves
1. Nf3 usually just transposes anyway. So after a few moves, you cannot even tell, whether the game started with Nf3 or a pawn move.
I mean that,The best way to play the opening is to play more knight moves and save your knight,take opponent's knight with bishop.
