6...Ng4 against the English attack in the Najdorf

Could some explain the idea and plans for the 6...Ng4 move against the English attack in the Najdorf Sicilian? Also it would be nice if example games could be given to learn from. Thanks.

I know Kasparov liked the move.

General idea is to disrupt white from playing his intended "Yugoslav Attack."

In fact, white players have switched their move order, playing f3 before Be3, just to avoid this Ng4.

I do not remember much specifics though. Just recall black playing a lot of pawn and knight moves on the kingside.
