I would do that but I’m sorry I don’t have access to stockfish. I’ll  do it if you post a link to a free download of stock fish though

http://abrok.eu/stockfish/ (Use Haswell version if you have modern CPU)

Ok I’ll do it. Give me an hour or so

Here's my game with Stockfish. It wasn't able to equalize against my Alapin and its position is probably lost.

Admittedly I couldn’t figure out how to download stockfish so I had to guess as to what moves stockfish would have played, but  I think I probably got it right

Pack it up guys, we finally found a refutation to the Sicilian. Thank you OP for enlightening us all with your amazing discovery. 2. c2!!! How is black going to counter this novelty?!

2.c2? how do you do that?

Stockfish won't run without GUI (e.g Arena/Fritz etc).

1. Download and install Arena first. http://www.playwitharena.com/

2. Once you download Arena and install it. Download Stockfish(or any other engine you wish to install) Extract the files from the ZIP(and remember where you put the extracted file) then open Arena, on the top toolbar click "Engines" then click "Install Engine" then a box will pop up, find the executable in the engine file you extracted and click on that. Arena will ask if it's a UCI or Winboard engine. With most new engines including Stockfish click UCI and your engine is installed. If you wish to use it to play against or to analyze a game, click "engines" again then "load engine" and you're in business.

Wow, there are tons of bad moves by black. At your posted position.

Stockfish is saying +10.00

Leela is saying + 19.00

Of course black is busted in your position. wink.png

TwoMove

The game in #107 should go down in history as the immortal wasting tempo's game.

I amazed everyone before... this, for white, is a loss!

after e4 c5 c3 Qc7! d4 d8=Q Black has an amazing advantage.

He didnt play it at all.  As he says "I had to guess at what moves Stockfish would have played but I think I got it right".

HorribleTomato

Oh lol that's why. Rab1? So smart right now. Thats what SADKID would've played, not stockfish.

Here's another beautiful Alapin game for your enjoyment.

Feel free to post your victories with the Alapin as well!
