the 3.Qh4 and 3.d5 lines are definitely much more agressive than most of the knights gambit lines. but i feel like there is always that one line that tranquilizes it
A general Study on the King's Gambit

I thought the K goes to e2 in the Bishop's Gambit? Am I wrong?
the computer claims after 4.Ke2 f5 refutes it

king's gambit isn't about "surprise factor". if you play 1...e5, you better be prepared for it! it's about TACTICS.
fisher defense doesn't scare me one bit, but several lines in the falkbeer counter gambit are REALLY annoying as is 3...Be7 with plans to trade the bishop for white's knight with 4...Bh4+ and then 5...Qh4+ robbing white of his chance to castle and use that juicy semi-open f file us keggers have learned to love

I don't take this B with my N not to let the Q gain activity immediately. I move Kf1 and it's fine.

Hope this is a joke.
