Well I don't know what 'new' is, or I'd try to help
A New Chessss Opening
there are no "new" openings. Fischer said it years ago: "chess is all played out" (or something to that effect) and refused to play what we regard as 'normal' chess - instead playing what is now known as Chess960 or FischerRandom.
Ok so here's my general approach. Let's call it, the "Slugger" Hungarian Open (WARNING : If you don't like to trade pieces, then do NOT try this opening)
And if ANYONE wonders why I did this, it's because I've beaten the cpu twice now with this opening. Depending on the other player's moves, this can play out VERY well for you. But basically, look for diagonal and vertical shots w/ rooks and the queen to win this game. Last time though, I did use a knight to win (quite unusual for me).
HOWEVER, you can use the original hungarian Open (with Bg2 instead of Bh3) for the sake that IF the opponent moves b6,b5, then you can kill his rook.
However, I rarely see that.
I only play the Counter Theory Opening (CTO), which I invented. It's a system-based opening, and it's based on the premise that the opponent dismisses it as terrible (which it is!), and starts to play in a loose, cavalier fashion.
The opening IS bad....but it's not nearly as bad as it looks. The opponent often sacs on g4 if playing black or on g5 if they are playing white. Then, it's a question of defending until you can swap off all the material and win with the extra piece. Check any of my games to see what I mean. A master would walk all over this opening but it's good against blitz players up to about 2100, I would say.
I've been loving the Stonewall dutch recently. It's the newest addition to my repertoire and I find it interesting
Hey guy's, I'm wondering if you guys could show me some new openings because
I want to learn a new opening from CHESScom players. Please do not be scared
to share ideas here! Thank You!
