What does theory say about the move order 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 g6 (so called "hyper-accelerated dragon")?

does it transpose to the main line of the accelerated dragon or can white get an advantage?

In the Hyper-Accelerated Dragon, white can try for an advantage with the line:

 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 g6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Qxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 Nc6 6.Qa4 d6 7.e5 dxe5 8.Nxe5 Qd4 9.Nxc6 Qxa4 10. Nxa4 bxc6

It's the Nc3-Qa4-e5 combination that is annoying, even e5 on move 5 can work.

I have come to slightly prefer playing against the Rossolimo (2...Nc6 3. Bb5) because you obtain a strong center and the bishop pair. But that's just my preference.

It transposes to the mainline of the Accelerated Dragon, but the only difference is that you have to play against 4. Qxd4 (objectively worse than 4. Nxd4 by a decent amount, but it is slightly critical theory that you will need to know) rather than the Rossolimo (objectively only slightly worse than the Accelerated Dragon for White). I don't have a preference for which to play, but I would most likely recommend the Hyperaccelerated, as there are a good amount of anti-Sicilian mains who'll have extensive Rossolimo prep, whereas very few people will have extensive prep in that specific 4. Qxd4 line, which isn't bad for Black anyways.
