Advice for line in Pirc Defense

Hello. Im currently working on my understanding of the Pirc Defense and I just faced an opponent who went for an aggressive pawn attack on the h-file and Im not sure how to defend wihtout putting myself into an awkward spot. Im new to the Pirc and know that the basic concept is to counterpunch when attacked but I dont see any good ways to do so. I tried to find some games with this structure but couldnt find any great replies for black. My 10th move is obviously a huge blunder and instantly lost the game but how do I stabilize in this situation.

Hello, I play the Pirc a bit. I’ve never really ended up in this situation, but... try to exchange the dark squared bishop of your opponet’s off for a knight if you can. Also, it’s ugly, but pushing the h-pawn to h5 will stop White’s intended advance. I’m not expert, but these are some of the things I’m thinking. You don’t need to follow them if you don’t want to.

All this could have been avoided, if you had played 5...h6, and then maybe g5, depending on circumstances.

If anything, black is a tiny bit better after 5...h6.

11...gxh5 12. Qg5

in lines with Bg5, better avoid 0-0 as long possible , on Qd2 you may h7-h6...
