You can find out here: http://www.chessgames.com/perl/explorer for example, one of many sites that list them.

I got a free game analysis on this site, and it told me what opening and variation I had used. (If you're curious, it was: C15: French Defense: Winawer Variation, Winckelmann-Riemer Gambit.)
I'm pretty new to chess, so I only know the names of a handful of openings, and only know the "moves" for them for maybe 2-3 moves, then I'm winging it. However, it was cool to see what variation I had come up with in the above game, and I'd like to know the names for the other opening lines I've come up with on my games.
I have a stockfish software that analyzes my games, and I have used that on a few pgn files, but it does not give me the name of the opening like the Chess.com analysis. And I'm limited to one Chess.com analysis per week.
Basically, is there an online chess game analyzer, or free software, that will do this -- look at a pgn and then tell me what openings / variations were used by both sides?
Or maybe I don't even need an analyzer. I could just look this up if there's some good summary, like an "opening tree" that allows me to look up my openings online?
Thanks - Ken
