Aggressive Repertoire for Black in the Open Games

This is my opinion of what an aggressive, or sharp, repertoire for Black in the open games should look like...  Let me know what you guys think!

1. Guioco Piano- Just playing the Main Line with 3. ... Bc5.  Tactics become a big deal if White plays the Main Lines (4. c3).

2. Ruy Lopez- Schielmann Defense offers plenty of chances for Black to seize the Initiative.

3. Scotch- 4. ... Qh4 is an aggressive reply that tries to win a pawn, White will look for compensation.

4. King's Gambit- Playing the Main Lines (3. ... g5) leads to an interesting, sharp game.  Against 3. Bc4, the Scarecrow Defense should be enjoyable to the Black player.

5. Four Knights, Spanish- Rubinstein Variation sacrifices a pawn for the Initiative, very fun.

6. Against the Center Game, just play 2. ... exd4, and if the opponent responds 3. c3, surprise him with 3. ... Qe7!?.

I certainly agree with #6 and with his general ideas.

Regarding 6. 3...Qe7, it is a good answer to white's gambit. With best play from both sides, chances are close to equal.

However, I like 3...dc3 Now white has to play 4.Nxc3! when he has almost adequate compensation for his pawn. However, most Danish gambits afficionados go for 4.Bc4? cb2 5.Bxb2 Bb4+! when white is simply worse. See my previous posts (Danish Cracker).

Regarding the Ruy, I can safely say that the Schliemann is a solid drawing weapon, but NOT a variation to play for a win. White can force a draw in multiple ways.

Going for a win in a technical way - consider the Berlin. or playing an aggresive approach, play the accelerated Arkhangel (Tkachiev variation, according to Shirov, 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 a6 4.Ba4 Nf6 5.0-0 b5 6.Bb3 Bc5), and follow closely Shirov's and Caruana's games.

Schielmann a drawing weapon?  Could you show the lines where White forces the draw? I was not aware of this.  I am also somewhat skeptical over the Berlin Defense.  I had thought it was the drawing weapon, not a way to look for a win, but I am also not entirely sure what technical means in the above context.

@ponz

I see that you know Ponziani.  What would you suggest as an aggressive way for Black to handle White's opening choice?

I definitely would like to see the Schliemann be a drawing weapon. Im not challenging Pfren, just am curious.

I think what Pfren might be getting at with the Berlin is Kramnik's famous win with it as black against Kasparov. However, this was more because Kasparov was itching for open positions, not trying to grind out a win in the endgame.

To answer your question, one aggresive way against the ponziani is

Here is a gambit vs the Ponziani

I don't think Kramnik ever won with black against Kasparov with the Berlin.

Here is another line vs the Ponziani [but I do not think it is sound for Black]

what about 7... Qf6 in the last one, ponz?

In this last line  after 7. Qg4   Qf6  8. Qxe4  Qxf2+  9. Kd1 and then

Black's play runs out and he does not have enough for the sacrificed knight.
