Another Opening?

I have played the French for some time, and not with much success, what opening should I change to if I were to reply to e4?

Just look through the openings on chess.com, go through a few games of each then try them out.  The sicilian or Caro-Kann are probably the two best alternatives to the french for you (I really dislike e4 e5 games but that's just me).  Scandinavian is playable too if you enjoy very open games.

all established defences are good to play.

It's up to you to choose according your tastes.

If u lose with french defence, is it the defence or is it just you?

French is used at any level, even at top GM level, so I don't think we can blame it...

If you want to get an strucutr like on the french then go for the french sicilian

I think the Ruy Lopez is the best opening for white.

Caro-Kann is the best if you like the French. It is also my favorite against 1.e4 Maybe your problem with the French is the c8-bishop, but it will almost never be blocked in the Caro

silican ?? petrov (idk if its e4)

As already mentioned by multiple people, including an IM, in another forum, there is no such thing as the "French Sicilian".

Alekhine isn't too fun, but it can give you a decent game.

Play 40 or 50 games of this and you'll know it better than the other guy,  maybe even enough to try and argue that black isn't worse.  Sorry ,  if you aren't tough enough or enough of a hard worker to play the e6 d5 then you seriously need to stay away from anything mainstream or change your attitude.

The Damiano! Nice to see someone giving a shoutout to this haha.

Jesus christ?  This has a name.  I just made it up

Fischer played it once, so it must be good lol.

Fischer's Damiano Game. In fairness, it is a Simul, andhe probably played it out of boredom.

Ignoring the "threat" to the c2 pawn with 8.Nc3 Qxc2 9.Qd4 wins for white (the queen gets trapped at c2 after 0-0 and Ne1), and this is known since ages.

What is the problem with the French?

I decided to change just recently from the French defence. I was not understanding piece play, so in order to improve I decided to play e5 and take whatever they throw at me.
