Black won't take on d4. Tension will remain until White finally plays d5. Once White plays d5, you have the same blocked structure in the center as the czech Benoni without having to play innocuous moves just to get rid of your bad bishop for his Bishop. Instead, you got a knight for it way earlier!
Just play your favorite Siclian e6 variation from the Benoni. It works...
