I play this line in the from's gambit (all at home analyzed theory)
as black
that's a cool line
what if Black doesn't take the second pawn though? Then it's just a normal from's gambit, but White has an extra turn to prepare for g5-g4...

it depends on my mood
for example this kid I know irl always plays f4 (he didn't use to) but if i play e5 he plays the KG and destroys EVERYONE
so against him i can't play e5
speaking of KG, In the KG accepted, I like Bc4 on the 2nd move instead of Nf3, and if Qh4+, I just play Kf1. Is this objectively good?
indeed. I could never hate my Opening Repertoire because of the love & care + pain & agony + time & effort + trials & errors + studying & practicing + absorbing & discarding + thrilling victories & crushing defeats, that I'd put into building it over the years! THAT said (heh) it seems to me you could learn to appreciate your repertoire more by playing slower time control games 🤔. indeed2, I believe it could also help other aspects of your game (as in my experience, it also indirectly or directly contributes to your obvious disdain), just my opinion.👍🏼
Against e4 I'd play this new gambit which isn't common :
You can also transpose into some of the lines from the Bishops Opening or Italian like in above diagram :
Against d4 I'd play a variation of the Benoni that looks a little weird:
If I ever play a French I'd try c4 instead of Qb6 as black
Looking at non-standardised ways to play different openings where the theme is space.
Also looking for non-standardised and unfarmiliar gambits like the 3.d5 gambit in response to the Italian or the 2.d5 gambit which is called the Khan Gambit.
If you want to see some of the deadly traps in the 3.d5 gambit in response to the Italian just go to a forum called 4/18/2021 Refuting a Dubious Attack and look from page 7 onwards , I posted some of the possible deadly opening traps with that line which is my favourite .
If I were you I'd actually try and find out of the openings you have faced what moves are common in those openings and what moves are uncommon and play a move or a whole set of moves that aim to take your opponent away from theoretical positions and more so into unknown positions because the more theoretical you go with your positions the more likely they can navigate the position and the less theoretical you go the more chances you have of finding tricks or traps in your setup that your opponent can fall into as they fail to properly navigate the position . I actually defeated a 1621 rated player when I was 1509 with this concept plus my opening repertoire . From that anything can be your opening repertoire so long as you are steering the ship away from known land in the openings you play .
Btw .... I could've defeated him sooner with a brilliancy starting from only the 13th move of the game
I love my openings and I've found that if I simply study the lines that I hate I get much more comfortable and end up learning a lot.
You need to stick with either 1.e4, d4 or c4 and study the hell out of it and get comfortable. It takes time so playing everything can be a huge waste of time since you never study 1 idea deep enough.
that's literally what i always play as black
so
um
you posted too late
