The Italian game is my favorite opening

Advantage me! I avoid the Italian Game all together as I don't play 2...Nc6. All I have to be ready for are Kings Gambit, Danish Gambit, Center Game, Vienna Opening, and Bishop's Opening players. Otherwise, you'll be in a Petroff against me. No Italian, No Spanish, No Scotch!

Yeah I know it’s not really the fried liver but many people for some reason say it’s the fried liver

I don't play the 4.Ng5 attack on the f7 pawn , if 3..Nf6 is on the board in the Italian, I just play 4.d3. But I do play the Evans gambit every time I get 3.Bc5. Love that gambit. Used to play both the Evans and the "Fried Liver" lines, but decided to be more solid in the Italian for anything that isn't the Evans.

As Black I only play Sicilian or Scandinavian against 1.e4. So havent had to play against Italian, Scots or Spanish in years. It is only recently I started using the Scandinavian as I struggle against it as white, so I wanted to play it to improve.
