What powerful book openings would you suggest for beginners?

There are many of them... my favorite is the Vienna Game, or the London System.

Most simple and solid is to defend 1 e4 e5 and 1 d4 d5 as black and to open 1 e4 as white.
The Ruy Lopez 1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 Nc6 3 Bb5 is probably the best opening for all levels.

Hi
Dumbluck626

So I just started a series on calculation. Right now it's building on the basics but it's going on building a framework from opening to endgame.

Each post is like a 1-2 minute read.
