Best Opening for Beginners?

Hi everyone, I’ve been playing chess for about 1 year and I want to improve my openings. Right now I usually play the Italian Game as White and the King's Indian Defence as Black. What openings would you recommend for beginners that are easy to learn but still strong? Also, how do you study openings without memorizing too many moves? Thanks!
