Im new to reti. Wondering the best way to answer the black mustang defence.
Mustangs usually crash through crowds.
First time i hear about mustang defence. Please why not giving the moves.
Maybe i am not reference, but if an IM never saw "Mustang defence", u could imagine about other people...
After searching, it seems to be 1.Nf3 Nc6, "hoping" to transpose into Nimzowich 1.e4 Nc6(or 1.e4 e5 Nf3 Nc6 territory) or Chigorin 1.d4 d5 2.c4 Nc6.
U don't like neither of these?
Well, why not continuiing in Reti fashion with 2.g3?
U will probably get a Pirc reversed, is it a problem for you?
It really depends on the way u like to play Reti...
