What would you consider the best black openings for playing against better opponents? should i stick with what im good with?

If you play your standard opening and lose because of the opening, you learn something that makes you better. That's great too!
Why would you want to play something different? Stick with what you're good at.

Yes. Of course.
Usually my philosophy in chess is to trade down then either win or draw in the endgame. Im playing black tomorrow against a school rival, do you have any suggestions for black openings? I would prefer an opening that can trade queens easily. Im better at endgames then openings, so i just get it even til the end. Usually as black ill play slav,semi-slav, or caro-kann. Any pointers or advice?
