Boor attack vs. 2. ...e6?

I've been playing the Boor Attack vs. the Slav and having a jolly time, just wondering if anyone has tried it against 2. ...e6 or knows of a similar attack against 2. ...e6? I'm fine with regular QGD, I just quite enjoy the Boor Attack

No takers? Does nobody play the Boor Attack? Do you find this thread BOORING - HA, HA!?
I like it because it's very aggressive and not a bit unsound, however there are very few database games to use as examples/evidence.

I think it will work less well against 2. ... e6 because black is immediately more free so it will be harder for white to develop much of a development lead.
Also, on move 5 black has 5. ... c5! which is probably the reason why no-one plays 5. f3 in this line. That of course isn't possible in the Exchange Slav Boor attack.
1. d4 d5 2. c4 e6 3. cxd5 exd5 4. Nc3 Nf6 5. f3 c5! 6. e4?! cxd4 7. Qxd4 Nc6 8. Bb5 Bd7 9. Bxc6 Bxc6 and now everything gets exchanged leaving black with the bishop pair.
I've had really bad experiences moving my f-pawn, so that part makes me nervous. But it looks like an interesting idea!

The idea is to withhold e4 until black plays Nc6 so that you get the crucial d5 poke on the knight after ...dxe4, but if d takes c you can reach something funky like above I think? Looks unclear and possibly good for white, but let me know if I'm missing something. In this variation white is about to forfeit castling rights and black has the bishop pair, but a terrible pawn structure.

1) Do you see a better way for black to play it?
2) If not, which position to you prefer of the two above?

5. ... Be6 is horrific. 5. ... Nb-d7 is better. White can't take on d5 because of the old trap Nxd5 Nxd5! Bxd8 Bb4 winning the queen back and leaving black a piece up. Against normal moves you won't be able to get a good Boor against 2. ... e6.

Don't know what I would do without you! I'll take your word for it and consider this case closed. Thanks

If you like the Boor you might also like the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit. It's much less obscure though - far better known: don't know if you'd consider that a pro or a con.

The BDG could, indeed, be my next great project. I think obscurity is a bit of an advantage, as is soundness, but neither are must-haves. And from the bit I've read of it, BDG sounds resoundingly sound, at least compared to most gambits. If only it weren't mutually exclusive with the Boor!

If you're able to research your opponent's opening preferences before the game you could play the Boor against players who play the Slav and then play the BDG if they generally meet 2. c4 with 2. ... e6. And of course, if you don't mind playing f3 systems against the KID and maybe Nimzo then you could try to get a BDG or something similar against 1. ...Nf6.

I realized e6 really kills the Boor attack (the fun version, anyway) regardless of when it's played, so maybe this transposition is the solution to all problems ever. Going to continue happily losing rating points as I experiment
Many thanks to Carl Boor for his wonderful Mcduffee game! Anyone knows where more of his games with Boor attack can be found? The Fritz database seems to have just a few. (If he reads this may be he himself could answer this?)
Please be relevant, helpful & nice!
